When Firefly Energy started with Enervio on May 28, they had one campaign in one Illinois market. Their first month produced 15+ closed deals (read part 1). Over the first 3 months we delivered 272 leads at an average of $27.11 per lead.
The sales team was closing. The question became: where else can this work?
Results: 943 Leads | 4 Markets | On Track for 30 Deals in September | Leads as Low as $22.55
3 New Markets in 2 Months
Pennsylvania (September). One campaign covering the PECO and Penelec utility territories. It became Firefly’s cheapest market: 131 leads in its first month at $22.55 per lead.
Two new Illinois sales zones (October). Each zone has its own campaign and feeds one sales rep, so every closer gets a steady flow of homeowners in their own territory.
Chicago region in Spanish (October). A dedicated Spanish campaign with its own creative, built for Spanish speaking homeowners.
On Track for 30 Deals in a Single Month
In September, their fourth month, Johny messaged us: his team was on track to close 30 solar deals that month from Enervio leads. That is about $350 in ad spend per deal.
October then brought 377 leads in 26 days, close to 4 times their first month.
Why It Scaled
Proven creative first. Our “tear up the bill” ad delivered 261 Pennsylvania leads at $22.82 each. We launch new markets with what already works, then test.
Campaigns built around utilities. PECO and Penelec homeowners see ads about their own bill, not generic solar ads.
Territory based lead flow. Each rep gets leads from their own zone, so no lead sits waiting.
Every lead pre sold on an estimate. Homeowners get a personalized solar savings estimate before the first call.
